How to Order

The process for ordering books online can be seen below. However if you would prefer to speak to us direct please feel free to phone using the details below. Books will normally be sent by 1st class post, if any other service is required please contact us.

Online Ordering

• Perform a search using our book search.
• Select the books you would like to order by adding them to your basket. To do this click the basket icon to the right of your book in the search results.
• Continue adding as many books as you would like.
• Once you are happy with your selections, click view basket and follow the on-screen instructions. At this point you are able to remove any books you no longer require.
• Once you have completed the order process we will confirm your order by email and arrange for your books to be posted. We confirm our orders in this way to ensure your credit card is not charged until we are certain the book you require is in stock.
• This website uses SSL encryption to ensure your personal information is delivered to us over a secure connection.

Terms & Conditions of Sale

Books offered for sale are octavo unless otherwise stated, published in London, and in Good or Very Good Condition relevant to their age. All books are carefully described, but if found to be defective or damaged on receipt may be returned within 7 days provided prompt notification is given.

Orders may be sent to us by telephone, email, fax or post. Prices are nett, trade terms are available.

UK orders are sent either by Royal Mail Letter post [up to 1.5kg.] or Parcelforce 48 for orders with a packed weight in excess of that. Western European orders are sent either by Royal Mail Printed paper or Parcelforce Euro 48. Other overseas orders are sent by Airmail or Seamail, as chosen by the customer.

We accept payment by credit or debit card [not American Express or Diners], cheque, electronic transfer to our bank account with all charges payable by the customer [details are shown on the Orders Form page, including BIC and IBAN details]. Terms are payment on despatch of order for card payments, and on receipt of invoice for other methods.
